The tacos include ground goat meat, tomatillos, chipotle peppers, and many other delicious taco ingredients. However, what sets this recipe apart is the tomatoes and tomatillos. They’re cooked face down on a cast iron skillet to give them some char before they’re added to the tacos. Ground Goat with Sweet Potatoes.

I just went outside to my herd and checked her and her kid (4 mos old) and the kid has it also but not as bad. I have 47 goats in my back field and she has been like this for a week maybe not but for sure days.

Goats are ruminants, which means that they have four stomach compartments and part of their digestive process includes regurgitating partially digested food and chewing it, called ruminating. This kind of digestive system needs a plant-based diet. The goat stomach consists of three forestomachs — the rumen, reticulum, and omasum — and a true stomach, the abomasum.
